The Sioux City Bandits and Sioux Falls Storm have been “I-29 Rivals” since 2001.  During this time, the Bandits vs Storm games have been some of the most hard-fought, competitive, and exciting games to watch. This year will be no different.

 

On February 15 at 2:05p.m., in a pre-season match up in the brand new Denny Sanford Premier Center, the 2015 Sioux City Bandits will take on the Sioux Falls Storm.  As members of the newly formed Champions Indoor Football (CIF) league, the Bandits have not competed against the Storm as a part of league competition since 2010 and are looking forward to a great game.

 

The Bandits will begin their final week of training camp, and this match-up will help coaches see what the team can do on the field against a highly competitive team and determine what corrections need to be made.

 

“Playing an excellent team like Sioux Falls give us a great opportunity to see our players in action against great competition. With our goal being a CIF championship, the evaluation of this game will help us shape our final roster to make our goal a reality,” said Head Coach Erv Strohbeen.

 

Season Ticket Holder/Media Night will take place prior to the first game of the season on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 5p.m. to 7p.m. at the Tyson Event Center. The media are invited out to meet the 2015 coaches, staff and the team. Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to pick up their tickets and mingle with the Bandits before practice at 7p.m. The public is invited at 7p.m. to watch the final practice before the season officially opens.

 

The Sioux City Bandits launch their 15th season with a 7:05p.m. kickoff at the Tyson Event Center against the Omaha Beef. Tickets are on sale now at the Tyson Box Office. Meet us after the game at One-Eyed Jacks on Hamilton Blvd.
