Albuquerque, N.M. – The Duke City Gladiators are on the road for the second week in a row and are looking to equalize the Dodge City Law on Saturday May 13 th .

The Gladiators fell to the Law earlier in the season by a score of 59-52 where it came down to the last play and Duke City coming up short by literally inches.

The Gladiator journey has been one of ups and downs due to the strength of schedule the team has. Duke City holds the most difficult schedule in the entire league due to their faceoff with four playoff contending teams played multiple times throughout the season.

This week’s game against Dodge City will be a critical game for the Gladiators as playoff possibilities are dependent on a win.

With missing key players like Wide Receiver Larry Cobb as well as Defensive Linemen Eric Banford and Kyle Patterson, Head Coach Dominic Bramante has made adjustments to ensure the voids are filled.

Last week’s game against Amarillo was a heartbreaker loss by just 2 points with a score of 30-28.

Regarding the loss to Amarillo, Bramante stated, “We’ve moved on to Dodge City and are not worried about any other game except this one versus the Law on Saturday.”

This game will be the second installment in a 3 game series against the Law and “We’ve made the proper modifications to our offense to ensure we score more points” says Quarterback Donovan Porterie.

Duke City (4-4) continues the season on the road this Saturday May 13 th at 5:35 pm mountain time against the Dodge City Law (7-2) where they faceoff for the second time this season. Fans can watch the online stream at DukeCityGladiators.com and follow along on social media with hashtag #DCGvsDCL.
